انطلاق الدراسة بأول دبلومة لإدارة سلامة العمليات في مصر

اعلنت وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية، وشركة ميثانكس مصر، ومركز خدمات الهندسة والعلوم بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة،  عن انطلاق الدراسة للدفعة الأولى من الدبلومة الجديدة المتخصصة في إدارة سلامة العمليات، وهي الأولى من نوعها في مصر .

وتضم الدفعة الأولى 32 متخصصًا من مختلف شركات البترول والغاز والبتروكيماويات. وعلى مدار أربعة أشهر، سيشارك الملتحقون في برنامج متكامل يجمع بين الجلسات الحضورية والتدريب عبر الإنترنت، ويتناول موضوعات رئيسية تشمل: أساسيات سلامة العمليات، تحديد المخاطر وتقييمها، قيادة سلامة العمليات، السلامة في التصميم والهندسة، الاستجابة للطوارئ، التحقيق في الحوادث، والامتثال للوائح التنظيمية وإجراءات التدقيق والمراجعة.

وتهدف الدبلومة إلى بناء الكفاءات الأساسية التي يحتاجها المتخصصون في القطاع لإدارة المخاطر وتعزيز مستويات السلامة.

*قال المهندس يس محمد، وكيل أول وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية والمشرف على أنشطة البيئة والسلامة والصحة المهنية وكفاءة الطاقة والمناخ* ، إن إطلاق الدفعة الأولى من دبلومة إدارة سلامة العمليات في مصر يمثل خطوة مهمة في الرؤية الاستراتيجية للوزارة نحو ترسيخ معايير السلامة وتعزيز التميز التشغيلي على مستوى القطاع. وأضاف: “من خلال التعاون مع ميثانكس مصر والجامعة الأمريكية، نعمل على بناء كوادر قائمة على المعرفة وقادرة على دمج مفهوم السلامة في جميع جوانب عملياتنا".

ومن جانبه، أكد محمد شندي، العضو المنتدب لشركة ميثانكس مصر، أن انطلاق أول دفعة من الدبلومة يعد محطة مهمة في تطوير التعاون مع الوزارة ليشمل بناء قدرات العاملين على مستوى القطاع بأكمله، مشيرًا إلى أن هذا الإنجاز يعكس التزام الشركة المستمر بتعزيز سلامة العمليات وتمكين الكوادر المستقبلية في القطاع بالأدوات والمعرفة اللازمة لضمان عمليات آمنة ومستدامة.

وفي السياق ذاته، أوضح الدكتور لطفي جعفر، عميد كلية العلوم والهندسة بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة، أن إطلاق الدبلومة بالتعاون بين الجامعة ووزارة البترول وميثانكس يستهدف تطوير الخبرات المهنية في مجال سلامة العمليات. وأكد أن هذا التعاون يعكس التزام الأطراف الثلاثة بدعم قطاع البترول والغاز في مصر من خلال تدريب متطور يعزز السلامة، والتميز التشغيلي، والنمو المستدام.

*يُذكر أن المهندس كريم بدوي، وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية، قد شهد في مايو الماضي توقيع بروتوكول التعاون الخاص بإطلاق الدبلومة، وذلك بالشراكة بين الوزارة وشركة ميثانكس مصر والجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة.*

*The launch of the Initial Round of Egypt’s First Process Safety Management Professional Diploma*
The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Methanex Egypt, and the Engineering and Science Services (ESS) of the American University in Cairo (AUC) proudly announce the launch of the initial round of Egypt’s first Process Safety Management (PSM) Professional Diploma. 
The first cohort includes 32 professionals from various oil, gas, and petrochemical companies across the sector. Over four months, participants will join the program through in-person and online sessions covering key areas such as the fundamentals of process safety, hazard identification and risk assessment, process safety leadership, safety in design and engineering, emergency response and incident investigation, as well as regulatory compliance and auditing.

Commenting on the launch of the first round, Eng. Yassin Mohamed, Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources First Undersecretary and Supervisor: “Launching the first round of Egypt’s Process Safety Management Diploma represents a major step forward in our strategic vision to institutionalize process safety and enhance operational excellence across the sector. Through this collaboration with Methanex Egypt and AUC, we are building a knowledge-based workforce capable of embedding safety into every aspect of our operations.”
Reflecting on the launch of the first round of the diploma, Mohamed Shindy, Methanex Egypt Managing Director, said: “The launch of the first round of Egypt’s Process Safety Management Diploma marks a significant step in transforming our technical collaboration with the Ministry into structured sector-wide capacity building.
